This policy explains our procedures for addressing claims of copyright infringement under the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) and other applicable laws.

1. General Statement

Black Vessels is an online platform for user-generated complaints. We do not review or endorse any content that users post, including images, text, and attachments. All content submitted by users is their sole responsibility.

If you believe any material on our platform infringes your copyright, please follow the procedures below to file a claim. We will respond in accordance with the DMCA and other applicable legal guidelines.

2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of one, please send us a written notification containing all of the following details:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • Identification of the material that you claim is infringing, including specific URLs or complaint IDs to help us locate the material.
  • Your contact information: full name, mailing address, email, and phone number.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
  • A physical or electronic signature (or the signature of a person authorized to act on your behalf).

3. Counter-Notification

If we remove or disable access to content in response to a DMCA Takedown Notice, we may notify the user who posted the material. If you believe the material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and its original URL.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email), and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your legal region.

Please send any counter-notification to the same email or address listed above. We will process counter-notifications in accordance with the DMCA.

4. Repeat Infringers & Account Termination

Users who repeatedly infringe or are repeatedly alleged to have infringed copyright may have their accounts suspended or terminated, at our discretion.

Black Vessels reserves the right to remove or disable content alleged to be infringing without prior notice and at our sole discretion.

5. Disclaimer

We do not warrant that the Site will be free of user-generated content that may infringe intellectual property rights. All complaint information (including attachments) is the responsibility of the user who posted it. We do not endorse or review user uploads for copyright compliance.
